In a night laden with Oslo War terrorism and violence, the following incidents were recorded:

* Four soldiers were wounded, including one in serious condition, by Arab gunfire in PA-controlled Jenin. They were transported to the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.

* Terrorist gunfire targeted, but missed, a motorist traveling near Kiryat Arba.

* A Kassam rocket and two mortar shells landed this morning in a southern Gush Katif community. No damage or injuries were reported.

* An Islamic Jihad terrorist commander, Hamza Abu Rov, was killed by IDF gunfire in Kabatia, south of Jenin, during the pre-dawn hours.

* Six PA residents suspected of terrorist activities were arrested by IDF forces and transferred to the custody of the General Security Service.

* A Hamas terrorist approaching the community of Netzarim was detected and killed by IDF tank fire. * * In general, security and intelligence agencies are on alert against planned terror attacks. Yesterday, Police Chief Shlomo Aharonishki warned that Al Qaeda and terrorists from Iran were working to perpetrate a mega-attack in Israel.
