Friday is expected to be the hottest day of heatwave, with a high of 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Temperatures will reach a high of 91 degrees in Tel Aviv on Thursday on Friday.
Eilat will see temperatures as high as 110 degrees on Friday.
Israel has experienced a relatively mild summer so far, with temperatures hovering around the seasonal average, even as parts of Europe and the US have experienced extreme and record-breaking heatwaves.
