Leaders of the Religious Kibbutz movement are beginning a two-day convention in Kibbutz Lavi today. Entitled "Dor L'Dor" (Generation to Generation), they wish to discuss the problems facing the movement in the fields of religious education and future leadership.



Secretary-General Nachum Baruchi told Arutz-7 today that the Religious Kibbutz movement is comprised of 16 religious-Zionist kibbutzim throughout Israel, including Gush Etzion, with an aggregate population of over 8,000 people. He said that the discussions of today and tomorrow will concentrate on "informal education, passing the mantle of leadership to the younger generation, absorption of young soldiers who have just returned from their trips around the world and/or are no longer religious, and the like. These are issues that concern us greatly at this time..."
