Yossi Rund of Ofrah was lightly wounded last night in a roadside terrorist shooting attack - similar to the one that claimed the life of his son Erez, 17, six months ago. He told Arutz-7 today that he was between Shilo and Maaleh Levonah, on his way to Bnei Brak, when a single bullet hit him: "The firing came from the east... Traveling behind me was Binyamin Regional Council head Pinchas Wallerstein, whose car also took a bullet - but thank G-d he was not hurt."

Speaking from his hospital bed, Yossi Rund said, "Our job is to keep on living and traveling here, but I would like to know whose job it is to protect us on the roads. I don't see it happening. Oh yes, I forgot, they're busy with the primaries and stuff like that; maybe when they finish with that, they'll get around to dealing with other side issues such as security… " Asked when he was to be released from the hospital, he said, "I don't know. They'll soon be looking at the bullet to see if it should be taken out, or maybe they'll leave it in - there are plenty of people walking around with bullets inside them, just to cause a beep at checks and crossings…" He changed his biting tone for a sincere call for unity: "The main thing is that we should all be unified, that's the main thing."
