Suppose you get to heaven but forgot your password?
Suppose you get to heaven but forgot your password?

I don’t know which is more ridiculous, the church-goers or the pastor…the pastor in Virginia who apologized for blessing President Trump.

The gist of what happened there, according to The Washington Times, goes like this: “The pastor of a Northern Even Progressive/Liberals ought to be better than this.
Virginia church has acknowledged hurting some in his congregation by praying for President Trump when the president made an unscheduled stop at his church on Sunday.

“Pastor David Platt of McLean Bible Church in Vienna said he made the decision in haste and he did not intend his prayer to be an endorsement of Mr. Trump or any political stance.”

Oh come on. Really? This cannot be America where this is happening…or…or is it only in America where this is happening?

We cannot be so far gone into godlessness, political correctness, and Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Even Progressive/Liberals ought to be better than this.

Or that may be asking too much from a Party wherein some members think Elizabeth Warren is fit to be president because she has high cheekbones.

Someone needs to tell these people that prayers for “the welfare of the state and its leader,” as mandated by our rabbis, through Pirkei Avot, is for your own good.

We say it in our synagogues, and, from what I understand, they say it in the churches, or did, until Trump became president.

Considering the alternatives to Trump, verily I say unto you, we need all the prayers we can get. We need prayers rather than a password to storm the gates of heaven.

Never before did Americans sing Hosanna to Progressivism, nor worship the calf of Socialism.

Where have we gone wrong? (Be the first one on your block to read this eye-opener, or the last one to read this worldwide sensation.)

“Except for the fear of the government, men would swallow each other alive.” So goes more from the liturgy for the wellbeing of our leaders, as taken from our Wisdom of the Fathers.

Swallowing each other alive is figuratively but precisely what we’ve been doing with no end in sight as for targeting Trump…and even people who know him from a distance.

Brett Kavanaugh they mercilessly tried to ruin, and for Paul Manafort they have gone positively medieval. Cruel world if you are a public figure who is not a Democrat.

Or do people forget?

If Trump fails, we all fail. This should not be complicated, unless you went to college. Or graduated from a class that included Maxine Waters, Jerry Nadler, or AOC.

Cursing Trump curses us all.

Obama’s Rev. Jeremiah Wright comes to mind as someone who cursed America from Sunday to Sunday…and he never apologized. Some of us were hurt? Nobody cared.

Maybe his curses worked.

America hasn’t been the same since Trump rode down the escalator and Liberal/Progressives won’t forgive.

The scorn for him is so insane that Jimmy Fallon had to apologize for “humanizing” Trump during a segment that found him playfully mussing Trump’s hair. Fallon’s ratings took a deep dive and Fallon is still apologizing to win back his audience, largely the Progressive/Liberals…who never repent.

What country is this when a man feels the need to apologize for blessing the President of the United States?

It used to be yours and mine.
