At least two violent incidents between Jews and Israeli-Arabs have been recorded in the past 24 hours. In Bat Yam last night, police approached a group of five Arabs from Jaffa and requested of two of them to produce identification. They refused to do so, and their friends attacked the police with chairs and other objects. This afternoon a brawl broke out between Jewish and Arab students in the Tzfat College. The occasion: the return to school of two Arab women students who had been suspended for their role in the Meiron bus bombing in which nine people were killed four months ago. The suicide terrorist warned the two of his plans, and they got off the bus without informing any one. They were then suspended from the college, but were reinstated after they appealed this decision in a District Court.
