The films below are part of The Toldot Yisrael project whose mission aims at interviewing those who took part in creating the history of the Jewish state. The archive is housed in Israel’s National Library, the official library of the State of Israel and the Jewish people, the Israeli equivalent of the US Library of Congress.

The videos are part of Toldot Yisrael's newest short film series, "Eyewitness 1948: The American Contribution" focusing on the efforts of Americans in the period leading up to the founding of the State of Israel. These video features convey the message that the State of Israel is a collective enterprise of Jews around the world.
