The number of Israeli victims of Palestinian terrorism and violence since the signing of the Oslo Agreements has now passed 1,000. The six men murdered in Beit She'an on Thursday brought the number to 1,004. The violence known as the Oslo War, which began in September 2000, has exacted 692 victims. Close to 200 people were murdered in 2001, and 450 so far this year - as opposed to 30 in the year before the Oslo Agreements were signed.

Several of the wounded in Thursday's attack are still hospitalized, including one in serious condition. Two of the wounded - MK David Levy's sons Jackie and Uri - were released from the hospital today. The condition of their brother Shimon, who was seriously wounded in the attack, has significantly improved, and he is no longer in the intensive care unit.

Rachamim Anter, father of the two boys killed in Kenya on Thursday, asked at their graveside yesterday in a broken voice that the mourners not cry aloud over them, "so as not to give a good feeling to their murderers, which will simply encourage them to murder other Jews."
