G-d is uncompromising in His intention to bequeath the entire land of Israel to His beloved people Israel, the sons and daughters of Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov.
But G-d is equally insistent and uncompromising in His intention that Israel not only fulfill G-d's Torah in the land of Israel, but that Israel conquer and inhabit the land without mercy or distraction.
Fulfilling G-d's Torah in the land of Israel is literally Israel's raison d'etre - and Israel's only lasting claim on the land.
