In other local elections yesterday, Binyamin Regional Council head Pinchas Wallerstein won an overwhelming victory for yet another term in office. Wallerstein, who has served in this position since 1979, defeated his main challenger Moti Zelikovitz by a 46-23 margin, and the other votes were divided among four other candidates, including Shimon Ricklin. In the Shomron, Bentzy Lieberman won a second term in office, defeating his opponent Meir Kihan.
