Before the beginning, before the heavens and the earth, before:
- darkness and light,
- night and day,
- the stars and illuminations,
- the creatures of the sea,
- the crawling things,
- the birds or the beasts...
even before the first Shabbat - G-d laid out the primordial foundations for His relationship with man.
It is upon these unshakable foundations that all creation is built.
