Danny Yatom, former IDF General and ex-Mossad head, is running for a spot on the Labor Party's Knesset list. Yatom told Arutz-7 today that he believes that Israel must negotiate with whomever the Palestinians choose as their leader. "I very much hope it will not be Arafat," he said, "but if it is, then we still cannot give up a chance to end the bloodshed."

Yatom's brother Ehud, a former senior GSS official, is also running for a Knesset position - on the Likud's list. "We are not only brothers, but good friends," said Danny Yatom, "and I hope that a good man like Ehud Yatom will make it into the Knesset together with me."
