MK Rabbi Benny Elon (National Union) made a similar call as the aforementioned MK Hendel, and added:
"The residents of the refugee camps El-Aida and Nasser [near Bethlehem and Jerusalem], from where they shot at Gilo and shoot at Rachel's Tomb and send terrorists, should be sent out to Jordan, and the camps dismantled. Instead, we hear talk of speeding up the Road Map plan - the government itself talking of rehabilitating the ruins of the PA. Unbelievable! I hate to mix the elections into this, but there's no question that Netanyahu is right when he talks about Sharon's understanding with Bush for a Palestinian state… We have to do everything we can to fight the establishment of a Palestinian state; we must totally destroy the Palestinian Authority, and the refugee camps must be dismantled and their residents exiled…
"There has to be a very strong party to the right of the Likud that talks of these things - a party with many MKs that can force the Likud Prime Minister to do these things… This is the only way…
"I am not in politics for its own sake; I truly believe that the only solution is exile of the terrorists, and an agreement to transfer the hundreds of thousands of refugee camps residents, who form the human infrastructure of the terrorism, out of the country."
Elon had some words for the U.S. as well:
"*This* [the previous paragraph] is the type of agreement for which we need America; we don't need America so that Ambassador Kurtzer can come to us with a humiliating Road Map plan that prevents Israel from doing what America itself does against its enemies in Afghanistan, and instead forces us to kneel down to the terrorists and allow them to put their guns to our heads. The U.S. is forcing us into a national humiliation by threatening to withhold ten billion dollars of guarantees, just like Bush's father did…
"This is our test: We need a party that will tell these truths clearly and will be in a position to have influence and say that we cannot have these two populations on one small piece of land… We pray that G-d "end all death, and wipe the tears from all faces," but sometimes we forget the end of that verse: "and remove the disgrace of His nation" - these deaths are, in addition to everything else, a national disgrace, and they must be stopped."
