There is reward for all offerings, karbanos.

When men are in distress and they cry out for help, Hashem remembers their Karbanos and sends His aid (Tehilim 20). Even though their own deeds had brought upon them their difficulties, Hashem declares that because they honore Me, therefore I shall aid them even though they are undeserving. “He shall remember all your Minchah and accept the fat of your Olah” (ibid. 20:4).

“Offer to G-d a Todah” (Tehilim 50:14) and in recompense “Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you” (ibid.).

“He that offers a Todah, honors Me; and to him that orders his way I will show the salvation of G-d” (ibid. 50:23).

“Slaughter righteous offerings and (therefore) put your trust in Hashem” (ibid. 4:6).

“I shall slaughter to you the sacrifice of Todah, and I shall call upon the name of Hashem” (ibid. 116:1 7) to help me.

“Gather My devoted ones unto Me, that have made a covenant with Me by Zevach” (ibid. 50:5).

All voluntary offerings bring abundant reward.

The offering presented a great opportunity to achieve the purpose of the Exodus from Egypt: “Let us sacrifice to Hashem our G-d” (Shmos 3:18, 5:3), “Send out My people and they shall serve Me” (ibid. 7:26).

The fact that the Mishkan and its Service occupy more space in Hashem’s written Torah than any other part of the service of Hashem, demonstrates the primacy of the Avodah of Karbanos over all the forms of piety toward G-d.

Indeed, “the Merciful One desires the heart” (Sanhedrin 106B), and “What does Hashem your G-d require of you but to fear Hashem your G-d, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him” (Dvarim 10:12). But when we speak of the Karbanos the intention is that of the Torah, that requires the proper utilization for which this Service was given.

When performed properly, and when the nation studied these laws of the offerings and were aware of the grandeur and supreme significance of the Sanctuary Service, the impact of the Karbanos upon the mind and the character of the holy people was incalculable

The Presence of Hashem became real, and every individual gained an Awareness that affected his entire behavior.

And in accordance with the principle of “Measure for measure” (Shabbos 105B), when the people become more aware of Hashem, He rewards them by intensifying the presence of His Shechinah among them. (A Nation is Born)
