The Book of Joshua recounts the saga of the Jewish people after Moses' death, when their forty year sojourn in the desert is over, and they enter the Promised Land under the leadership of Joshua and with the guidance and aid of the Almighty.
Now that we have completed chapters 1-12, the half of the book that deals with conquest, this lecture deals with the moral question of conquering another people.
