It's now official: The PA's Preventative Security Service is a terrorist organization. IDF Gaza Commander Brig.-Gen. Yisrael Ziv said as much today after the IDF raid on the organization's Gaza headquarters last night. In addition to much ammunition and weapons, the Israelis found there large amounts of intelligence information on Jewish communities and IDF army bases in the region. Defense Minister Sha'ul Mofaz, congratulating the army this morning on its success, emphasized that it has proven once again the strong link between the Palestinian Authority security services and terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Tanks and troops later moved in and leveled several of the buildings, but not before they seized Kassam missiles, anti-tank rockets, mortar launchers and mortars, anti-tank grenades, landmines and other weapons from the PA body's headquarters.
