Fifteen Arabs wanted for terror activity were arrested throughout Yesha (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza) last night. Seven of them were arrested near Hevron, the site of Friday night's shooting attack that left 12 Israelis dead. One of those arrested was a senior member of Yasser Arafat's Tanzim terror organization.



Last night IDF troops operating in the Tul Karem area, shot and killed an Arab during an arrest attempt. Soldiers surrounded the home of Mohammad Abdel Rani, 22, in an effort to arrest his brother, leading Al-Aksa Brigade terrorist Riad Abdel Rani, 30. Mohammad was shot dead as he attempted to flee the scene. Riad eluded capture.



On the Gaza front, Arabs hurled grenades and fired at IDF positions along the Egyptian border as well as near the Gush Katif community of Gadid. No injuries were reported. In addition, a Kassam rocket was launched at a Jewish community, without causing damage or injuries.
