The shells missed the houses, and fell in open area… A roadside bomb exploded outside an IDF outpost on the Israeli-Egyptian border… An anti-tank grenade was fired at the Gush Katif town of Ganei Tal… In northern Shomron, an IDF position outside Chomesh was shot at; soldiers returned fire… Not far away, an Israeli car was shot at on the Jenin bypass road, north of Kadim… In the same area, an IDF base near Mevo Dotan was shot at from a passing car late last night… Earlier in the evening, the IDF checkpoint on the Tunnels Highway was a target of shooting, as was a Border Guard position in Bethlehem.
Israel has arrested two Palestinian Authority para-military policemen and a Tanzim member who carried out terrorist activities. They are being held for placing explosives, and shooting at IDF positions and Israeli cars. No one was hurt in their attacks.
