A group of women reporters from the United States is currently spending a week in Israel on a special program entitled "Women in the Footsteps of Women in the Bible and Israeli Culture." The group, the third of its kind organized by the Tourism Ministry's New York office, is touring the Galilee, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea, and the Negev. Concentrating on the perspective of "Women in the Bible and Today," the visitors have met and will meet with women in various fields, including army officers, doctors, authors, and more.
