Two masked and armed men abducted a Greek Orthodox priest last night in the Arab neighborhood of El Azariye in Jerusalem. Itim News Agency reports that the two Arabs commandeered the priest's car with him and two other passengers inside. Police received word of the crime, began combing the area, and soon found the car. They stopped the vehicle, but the kidnappers managed to escape, leaving the priest and his two companions unhurt. The Shai (Samaria/Judea) District Police arrested early this morning one of the two Arabs suspected in the kidnapping.
