Sir, I am one of those you have called "filthy germs, savages, disgraces and insults to humanity," whose country you have repeatedly promised will soon be "wiped off the map."
You have claimed to take on the role of champion of the Palestinian Arabs.
I am writing on a day a little more than three weeks after the Israeli army began to seriously respond to one of your proxy groups, Hamas of Gaza. This is the group you have supplied with rockets to hit our cities, and whose terrorists you have trained for the purpose of killing our soldiers and civilians.
In your prophesying our collective death you have claimed to take on the role of champion of the Palestinian Arabs. Your patronage of them and support for them is a principal theme of your regime. Now, after eight years of their aggression and firing rockets and sending suicide terrorists to our cities, they see their infrastructure destroyed in a way which will require years for rebuilding. Their losses in lives and injuries are great. You, who encouraged them to violence, have done nothing to protect them. You, who expected us to fall apart from your missiles, have seen those you encouraged to violence be the ones whose society is destroyed. During the fighting, you did nothing real, did not send a single soldier to help them, not even one of your glorious suicide-bombing volunteers.
The Hamas regime's support for you and your line of no-peace and jihad-to-the-end has brought them to disaster. Nonetheless, you and their leader-in-exile, Khaled Mashaal, continue with your incendiary and threatening talk.
You also continue in your efforts to push forward with your nuclear weapons program. There are those who believe that in terms of fissile material, the most difficult part of the process, you already have a nuclear weapon; and that the weaponization part of the process is something you can do any time you wish. With a turn of the screw and a fitting for a missile and you can send these weapons in our direction.
You have succeeded in fooling the world, including the United States, in regards to your nuclear program. The puny sanctions of the Bush Administration do not halt your nuclear program. The great negotiators of the new Obama administration will also, in one way or another, probably be fooled by you. As it was with Pakistan, and as it was with North Korea, so it will be with you and the American negotiators. You will delay them and make promises to them, and in the end do exactly what you want. You are not going to be stopped by their words, nor tempted by their promises. You will lie to them and cheat them, as you have been doing to the United Nations for years. You and the rest of the mullah team are going to achieve your goal of having nuclear weapons.
However, having seen our reaction to rocket fire from Gaza, you might think again before sending those Shihab-3 missiles in the direction of Tel Aviv.
Still, you may be looking for a catastrophic scenario, a deadly endgame, a step towards the realization of your Messianic vision. You may tell yourself that collective suicide is a noble religious option.
You have many reasons now for desperation and it is not clear what you will do.
Yet, from what I have seen of the reaction of Islamic leaders who preach about the sanctity of suicide bombing, there is the element of somehow always suggesting that the "sanctified" party be someone else. And you may also not want to go down in history as the one who led your country to total disaster and destruction. I don’t know. But you have many reasons now for desperation and it is not clear what you will do.
Under your wise guidance, your own society has become poorer and more backward. The cover given you by high oil prices is gone. Perhaps the world will be lucky and you will be voted out of office soon.
But if you are not, and if you start with us - remember Gaza.
Technically, we are more competent to you. Militarily, we are stronger than you. Ethically, we are far better than you.
We may not be as cruel as you, but if you kill many of us, we will kill many times more of you.
Don’t dare start with us again. Or we will finish you, once and forever.
