Over 100 million refugees have been created by wars since the end of World War II. Seventy-nine million refugees were created during 1933-1945. Fifteen million Hindus, Sikhs (8.5 million) and Muslims (6.5 million) were displaced in 1947 in order to reshape British India into India and Pakistan. A Greek-Turk population exchange of two million

refugees was codified by the 1923 Treaty of Lausanne, following the 1919-22 Greco-Turkish War.

Millions became refugees in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia - as a result of their own ruthless regimes - following US withdrawal from Southeast Asia at the end of the Vietnam War. A population transfer of millions occurred among the USSR and Hungary, Poland and Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria and Romania, Greece and Bulgaria, Denmark and Germany, etc.

No claim - let alone a right - of return is enshrined by the international community for those refugees.

Three-hundred thousand Palestinians were expelled from Kuwait due to the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) collaboration with Saddam Hussein in the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Eight-hundred thousand Yemenites were expelled from Saudi Arabia due to Yemen's support of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

Over 500,000 Christians fled Lebanon as a result of a series of civil wars ignited by the PLO and Syrian occupation agents. Ten-thousand PLO members were killed and thousands of Palestinians expelled from Jordan due to PLO terrorism and attempts to topple the Hashemite regime.

No claim - let alone a right - of return is enshrined by the international community for non-Israel-related Arab refugees.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) handles all refugees - except Israel-related Palestinians. The largest UN agency (25,000 employees), UNRWA, handles only Israel-related Palestinian refugees. But unlike global refugees, Palestinian refugees are defined as any Arab who was in the territory of the Palestine Mandate two years before the 1948-49 war, Israel's War of Independence. Unlike UNHCR, UNRWA is responsible for all descendants of the original refugees, without generational limitation. Unlike UNHCR, UNRWA perpetuates - and does not work to resettle - Palestinian refugees.

While UNHCR is rewarded for sharply reducing the number of global refugees, UNRWA has been rewarded for perpetuating the status - and significantly inflating the number - of Israel-related Palestinian refugees.

In contrast with the mega-million myth, the total number of 1948-49 Palestinian refugees was 320,000. Eight-hundred thousand Arabs resided within the "Green Line" before the War of Independence. One-hundred-and-seventy thousand Arabs remained in Israel following the war. An additional 100,000 were absorbed by Israel afterwards.

The total number of 1948-49 Palestinian refugees was 320,000.

Moreover, 100,000 middle- and upper-class Arabs were absorbed by neighboring Arab states. Also, 50,000 migrant laborers returned to their states of origin. Fifty thousand Bedouins joined Jordanian and Sinai tribes. Ten to fifteen thousand were war fatalities. Therefore, total Palestinian Arab refugees: 320,000.

Eight-hundred-and-twenty thousand Jews were expelled from Arab countries following the establishment of the Jewish State. Six-hundred thousand were absorbed by Israel and the rest resettled in other non-Arab countries.
