I am neither pro- nor anti-USA. I am just trained to be pragmatic, practical and to read between the lines.
The Americans... can not be trusted at all.

The Americans... can not be trusted at all.

Over the years, I have let everybody know that, according to my long years of experience concerning the so-called friendship of the Americans, they can not be trusted at all. Especially since inconsistency is inherent in the American Constitution, as it was written some two hundred years ago.
The best example of this inconsistency is the dubious treatment of Mohammad Reza Shah of Iran by former President Jimmy Carter. Yet, according to Carter himself, Iran was the "island of stability" in that volatile region. According to former President Ronald Regan, the Shah "had done our bidding" in the Middle East and "it was a blot on our record that we let him down." The question is: Which one of the two presidents is right?
I have been friendly with quite a number very high American officials for many years, apart from being educated in an American college. Therefore, I believe I have come to understand their mentality quite well.
So, I am sorry to say that the reality has not left us with the slightest hope as far as the Americans are concerned (not to mention the mischief-makers of the United Kingdom). The only meager hope left for us is to cling to the Israelis, who feel themselves terribly betrayed by the Americans due to the 2007 National Intelligence Estimate report saying that Iran shelved its nuclear weapons program several years ago. Mr. G. W. Bush had little or no reaction to it.
I am waiting to hear the reaction of the Israeli lobby in Washington, though I do not have much hope for it. The present Israeli administration is in a precarious position of its own making, or due to the Americans' arm-twisting. The Israelis felt especially betrayed, as well, after the 2007 Annapolis Conference, which turned out to be a victory only for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
I do not need to emphasize the need for outside force.

I do not need to emphasize the need for outside force.

We also have no choice but to completely forget about the actions, or inaction, of Prince Reza Pahlavi and the entire Iranian Diaspora. They, time and again, have proven their uselessness. For now, we have to concentrate on the boys in Iran, since that is the only hope we are left with. We should forget about attacking Islam for the time being. We do not need more idiot fanatic enemies. The time to do away with that evil will come afterwards, if we will be successful at all.
But we definitely need to get the support of the Israelis, without which we will not attain anything. I do not need to emphasize the need for outside force. All the European nations, as well as Japan and even Israel, got the help of others after World War II, so why not us getting help from the Israelis? Apart from our recent history, we have nothing against each other. With the Israelis, we could be comrades-in-arms against our mutual adversaries.
