Two more Arab citizens of Israel are accused of anti-Jewish terrorism. Warda Abas Bakrawi, 32, of the Galilee village of Arabeh, has been indicted on charges of aiding a terrorist who tried to perpetrate a mass attack in a Tel Aviv cafe near the American Embassy last month. The charges against her, "aiding an enemy during wartime," state that she joined Hamas in the knowledge that her boyfriend was about to commit the attack. The crime was prevented because of the alertness of a guard at the site.

In addition, it was released for publication today that a 16-year-old from the Israeli-Arab town of Taibe planned a suicide bombing attempt in Israel. He had already arrived in Kalkilye to pick up the explosives vest, but at the last minute turned himself over to IDF forces that had entered the city that night.
