As both an American and an Israeli citizen, I believe that it is a very good time to make an accounting of the legacy and achievements of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his Kadima government to date
The legacy and the achievements of Kadima that I will list below started with Mr. Ariel Sharon. They received

greater momentum with Mr. Olmert's declaration that Israel and he were tired of wining, fighting and being courageous. I certainly have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Olmert and Kadima succeeded immensely in proving to their enemies and "friends" around the world that Israel is truly tired of wining, fighting and being courageous; nobody can ever accuse Mr. Olmert of not telling the truth about this.
Mr. Olmert and many in Kadima have certainly accomplished much:
1) Achieving a roadmap "peace" dividend (the peace of the grave) for many Israelis, by pandering to internationalists, many of whom favor the Arab over the Jew.
2) Giving the impression to many Jews that they would be safer in a place like Germany than in Israel .
3) Reducing some areas of Israel to a Warsaw ghetto-like existence of depression, destruction, death, demoralization, fear and confusion.
4) Proving to the world that Israel's democracy is still in its infancy - a majority opposition to Olmert and Kadima is ignored, while representation is given to everybody but the majority of Israeli citizenry.
5) Imprisoning, harassing and physically abusing many dissident Israelis (children included) with KGB-like tactics, kangaroo-type justice and conditions reminiscent of Russian gulags.
6) Giving strength, support and encouragement to a "Palestinian" population (85% of whom approve of the terror tactics used against Israelis).
7) Turning Jew against Jew to appease the US State Department, President George Bush, and their allies in the European Union and the United Nations.
8) Reducing the image and deterrent factor of the IDF to the point that Israel's enemies feel more comfortable and confident that they will eventually wipe Israel off the map.
9) Increasing the contempt of the world for Israel and Jews by portraying Israel and Jews as cowards, as beggars, and as the path of least resistance towards satisfying the Arab world and appeasing Islam.
10) Engaging in repeated failed talks, financial, military support and aid to Fatah, the Palestinian Authority and "Palestinians" who, in the end, will most likely join with Hamas once again for another jihad against Israeli citizenry.
Members of Kadima have taken many Israeli citizens back in time.

11) Showing Israel's enemies and the enemies of the Jews that the Israeli - and the Jewish - bark is worse than its bite.
The party ruling the government of Israel really does not deserve the designation of kadima, "forward", unless it refers to progress in reverse. The government of Israel, as it stands today, really deserves the name achora, "backwards", because members of Kadima have taken many Israeli citizens back in time to some of the most frightening, destructive, painful and demoralizing times in Jewish history.
In summation, it seems to me that Olmert and Kadima have been monumentally successful with this legacy of accomplishments. Now, there is no question that Israel is tired of the struggle with its enemy; yet, rest assured, the "wolves" smell the fear and tiredness of their prey.
P.S. If you disagree, please feel free to respond and prove me wrong.
