Aish HaTorah women in Thornhill, Canada recently raised over $20,000 for medical supplies and other items for the people of Yesha. At the same time, the Aish HaTorah men were on a One Israel learning/solidarity mission in Yesha, Tzfat, and other areas of Israel.



Some 84 merchants from Jerusalem shipped wares to Tucson, Arizona for a five-day "Ben Yehuda Mall" fair at the Tucson Jewish Community Center last week.



The Young Israel of East Brunswick and the East Brunswick Jewish Center in New Jersey will jointly host an Israel Solidarity Fair featuring Israeli products and vendors on Nov. 24 at the East Brunswick Jewish Center.



Beth Yeshurun in Houston, Texas will be holding a similar fair, at which the public is invited to purchase products made in Israel.



A community-wide event in North Miami Beach entitled South Florida Shops Israel will be held this Saturday night and Sunday. The organizers expect 10,000 people to come to the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center to purchase Israeli goods. Forty Israeli artisans and retailerswillparticipate in person, and tThe products of more than 250 fine artists, silversmiths, jewelers , weavers, manufacturers and Judica craftsmen from Israel will be on display.



An Israel-merchant fair will be held at North Shore Congregation Israel in Chicago this Sunday and Monday, where more than 35 merchants from all over Israel will bring their merchandise such as textiles, tapestries, jewelry, T-shirts, giftware, Judaica, ritual items, art and souvenirs in all price ranges.



A benefit concert for Israel featuring musician Sandy Shmuely was held at Temple Menorah in Milwaukee this week. All proceeds were donated to the Israel Emergency Solidarity Fund.
