Sharon and Netanyahu agreed beforehand that whowever finishes in second place in the race between them will automatically be number-two on the Likud's Knesset list, without having to compete for the spot. This is on condition, however, that the loser receives at least 30% of the vote. This caveat was apparently inserted in order to ensure that Moshe Feiglin of the Jewish Leadership faction not benefit from the agreement. Jewish Leadership sources say that in addition to the 130 delegates they brought to the Central Committee, their support among the other delegates - approximately 2,800 in total - is growing.
