What do you do when a country you have always respected behaves like the ones she had always stood up against? What do you do when the people you have always admired behave like the ones you have despised?


The BBC is most responsible for poisoning the minds of millions.



Britain is the birthplace of Western democracy. Just like the Jews, her people have contributed disproportionately to the history of the West. From Sir Isaac Newton to James Clerk Maxwell and Bertrand Russell; from Charles Babbage to Alan Turing and Rosalind Franklin; from Shakespeare to George Orwell; from Charlie Chaplin to Alec Guinness.


I cannot but admire how, in May 1940, Winston Churchill stood alone facing Nazi Germany and decided to fight. The Soviet Union had signed the non-aggression pact with Germany, America had not yet entered the war. Thanks to that man and the citizens of Britain of that time, civilization survived.


Today, that same country is engulfed in a wave of anti-Semitism. Nothing but anti-Semitism can explain the constant singling out of Israel among all other nations, the vilifying of its people. Nothing but anti-Semitism can explain this hypnotic trance that a significant portion of the British population seems to be in, infected with a malaise they are not even aware of. Logic and arguments are futile, for this is a disease of the mind.


The flagship of the British media, the BBC, is most responsible for poisoning the minds of millions. First, it expunged the word "terrorist" from the dictionary. As in Newspeak, you first destroy the word and then the concept itself, since there is no word to describe the concept anymore. But the real crime of the BBC is in the whitewashing of Palestinian terrorism, in repeatedly and consistently finding excuses for the onslaught of Palestinian suicide bombers against Israeli civilians.


I doubt that the decision-makers in the BBC will ever stand trial for their indirect support of the murder of Israeli civilians, but there is no doubt that historians of the future will be baffled as to how such an organization could have distorted the truth for so many for so long. In this bizarre world, the truth has indeed been put on its head.


Channel 4 recently aired a documentary about anti–Semitism in Britain. One incredible point made in this film is that Israeli policies are considered universally, almost axiomatically, wrong. The discussion in the film was primarily about how bad it is to blame British Jews for having a view about Israeli politics. No one in the film, absolutely no one, stated that Israel is defending its citizens from jihadists and that its track record is better than that of any other Western liberal democracy at war. This, more than anything else shown in the film, reflects how bad the situation actually is. The public relations battle to portray Israel as a legitimate country, attacked from all sides by enemies who wish to destroy it, has effectively already been lost.


So demonized, Israel will be alone when the danger from Iran comes to a head.


When Britain stood alone against the Nazi menace, at least it had the wishes and aspirations of the rest of the sane world backing it. Alas, today, Israel stands almost alone, vilified for defending itself. Every reaction Israel takes to protect itself is considered an overreaction; all means legitimate for any other nation are deemed illegitimate for Israel.

Americans have to avoid traveling to Britain.

66 years ago, will have to come to the aid of not only Israel, but Britain itself. Britain has to wake up. Since several Islamic terror attacks and failed terror attacks have done nothing but create another boycott against Israel, help has to come from outside. The disease has advanced too far. Americans have to avoid traveling to Britain. It is an infected area - infected with anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism. Like a SARS epidemic, it should be sealed off from the rest of the sane world, or what's left of it.


On Wednesday, July 11, the US House of Representatives unanimously passed a resolution condemning a British call to boycott Israeli universities. Americans should follow their legislators' example and show by their absence that they disapprove of what is going on in the UK. Only then will the Brits realize that something is very wrong. Only then might they stand a chance to change themselves and save their country.
