You have to give it to them; Israel's Left has an answer. We will give, capitulate, retreat, contract, pullout, surrender and appease. We will return to the 1967 or 1948 borders, we will give Arabs equal or 'better' rights, and we will hope that by giving in to the Arabs - the so-called Palestinians - we will reach a two-state solution and a final and lasting peace.

For those of us who have studied Israel's history, who know and understand that Arabs killed Jews before there was a so-called occupation, and we hear the current Arab leadership call for the total liberation of Palestine (i.e., all of Israel), the leftist approach is suicidal.

Israel's Left can lead to the total destruction of Israel, maybe; but they have a solution nonetheless (it is either them or us, and we chose them). On the other hand, does Israel's Right have a solution? Have they ever had one?

The shocking answer is: No.

Israel's Right, which has advanced as a disguise for the "not-so-leftists", has never had a real solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Ariel Sharon, considered to have been the father of the settlement movement, thought that the best way to secure Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the Golan Heights for the Jewish people was by settling the land. He founded many settlements with the support of religious Zionist Jews. Even when there weren't enough of them to populate a town, he built the homes anyway, hoping that one day Jews would come.

To his credit, most settlements did become populated. But the ugly truth is that settling the land did not provide a defense against the Arab demographic threat, nor to the security threat they represent. And the settlements Sharon fought so hard to build he later began tearing down as he exited Israel's political arena.

Rabbi Meir Kahane, H.y.d., was able to gain a seat in the Knesset. He stood on the podium and spoke to deaf ears as he proposed what today is known and understood as the only "Right" solution. He formulated a budgetary plan in which each Arab family would receive a government grant of $40,000 dollars, plus the cost of their homes and businesses. A couple billion dollars and a systematic transfer of the Arabs out of Israel would have resulted in an effective and lasting solution to the conflict. As you drive through Israel's roads and streets today, you still see the graffiti on the walls that says Kahane tzadak or "Kahane was right", and Rabbi Kahane's famous Star of David with a fist.

Israel will not allow herself to do something they associate with the Nazi regime, which is to forcibly transfer populations based on race or religion. But there have been instances of transfer of populations to end wars and conflicts. Israel has the means to do the same in a humanitarian way. Unfortunately, that is the only logical solution - aside from the leftist suicidal path we are currently embarked on.

With a heavy heart, they must go; but we must act now, and come to terms with a clear and dangerous reality.
