Eight people were killed this morning when a bus driven by a terrorist crashed into a crowded bus stop at the Tempo Junction outside Holon. 18-20 people are wounded, including three women soldiers in critical condition in Tel HaShomer Hospital. Many of the victims were soldiers.
After the bus plowed into the crowd, it continued southwards towards Ashdod, followed by police vans shooting and chasing after it. The driver was finally caught in Gan Yavneh, and is seriously wounded.
The terrorist bus driver is from the Gaza Strip and was a regular driver for Egged for five years transporting Arab workers to and from the Gaza Strip. He had passed all security checks. Police checked the bus and found no explosives.
