With the impending forceful Allied resolution of the Iranian, Syrian and Lebanese problems, the architects of terror may very well carry on their fight in those countries of Europe which gave them sanctuary from the Middle Eastern homelands they terrorized, and which European nations served as their original training bases. If following the inevitable pacification and liberation of Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia and other Islamist dictatorships, the hostilities migrate to their source of origin, Europe, we are back where we started with the invasion of Poland in 1939 and Pearl Harbor.
This time around, we are not dealing with a casus belli for major conflict located in Hawaii or east of the Rhine. Every nation's diplomatic corps and all nations' vultures of the press (if they cannot find a grisly tragedy to report, they will create one) are working overtime to ensure World War III kicks off in Israel, through the imposition of a state within a state, and through whatever means come to hand. The only benefit to this malevolent development is that with the formation of a Frankensteinian state, that country would have to obey the Geneva Convention and international law respecting the behaviour of sovereign nations and the lawful conduct of war - therefore, it is highly improbable that there shall ever be a Frankensteinian state. As an "army of liberation", Hamas, Hizbullah and the Palestinian Authority are not constrained by any international laws of conduct, which is why they can continue their lawless wreaking of mayhem as they please with no limits. Amazingly enough, there is no enforceable body of law or international regulations to impose terms and conditions of engagement and negotiation between a revolutionary force and the acknowledged, lawful state against which it is rebelling. This is the reason why the North Vietnamese always smeared the word "democratic" and "liberation" all over their propaganda, as do today's Islamist self-dramatizing liars.
Terrorists know a good deal when they see one. Through this legal loophole, which President George Bush is trying to close through pressure on the United Nations, is Israel thus being Vietnamized, and rest assured, Israel's planned destruction, HaShem forbid, shall be under-reported as well, a filler on Page Nine.
