The heart rejoices at the new Jewish national consensus. Crossing political boundaries, from the extreme Right to the extreme Left, the Jewish people have finally agreed on a solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict. You might wonder, what would bring Yossi Sarid, Shimon Peres and Ariel Sharon to agree with the likes of Benny Elon and Baruch Marzel? One word: Transfer.

All the old voices that once called for peaceful co-existence with the Arabs have been silenced. The echoes of the "New Middle East" have long since faded away. The one word on everyone's lips is "separation". Nobody wants to co-exist with a culture capable of murdering a pregnant mother and her four children. Nobody wants to co-exist with a culture that worships death and sacrifices children on its altar.

Many Israeli Jews once dismissed the holy Torah's directive of separating from the nations of the world. One of the reasons G-d commands us to separate from the nations of the world is so that the Jewish people can successfully maintain and propagate true Jewish morality. These same confused Jews have been driven, almost against their will, to adopt the idea of separation because of the Arabs' barbaric immorality.

The only disagreement between the camps is what is to be the nature of the inevitable transfer of populations. The Left, in a fit of self-hate, has decided that separation must be achieved through the violent, forced transfer of Jews from their homeland. According to this plan, the Jews who sacrifice the most in order to fulfill the G-dly command to settle the Land of Israel must abandon their homes, synagogues, farms and factories, so that the Arabs can enjoy the fruit of Jewish settlement and enterprise. Further, the plan uses state resources to confiscate private land and property from Jews who are entitled to the state's protection. All of the state's force and might is to be used to violently remove families from homes they built with full government support.

The Left's position presents an incredible opportunity for the right-wing in Israel. The foundation must be laid now for the future transfer of Arabs from the land of Israel. The Left has already conceded that the state may transfer its own citizens in order to achieve national political aims.

Clearly, the Left sees nothing immoral about transferring Jews from parts of the land of Israel. However, they seem opposed to the notion of transferring out Arabs. Can it be that Arabs have a more cogent claim to the land than Jews? This is an argument that the right-wing, which is grounded in traditional Torah values, can win blindfolded. The Left might try to hit back with their old knee-jerk response that the transfer of Arabs is wrong based on universal humanist ideals. Such hypocrisy can be revealed in an instant when their eagerness to uproot Jews is exposed. One thing about universal ideals, they must be applied universally. The Left's plan also opens the door for expelling Arabs who have Israeli citizenship, not to mention unregistered refugees.

The right-wing must take this historic opportunity to shift the entire framework of the national debate. The taboo of transfer has been shattered forever. A ray of light is shining through the clouds of the Left's misguided plans. When framed properly, the Left's plans can be used to create a new reality, wherein the leaders of the Right can openly support the kind of ideas and policies that will lead Israel into a new era of peace and productivity.

What we need are leaders with the eloquence and foresight to turn this opportunity into a bright, new reality. We must turn to our brothers and sisters on the Left. We must express to them the joy we feel regarding our new-found mutual understanding. We must embrace the new national consensus. Transfer of the Arab population to any one of their 22 countries is ultimately the only hope Israel has for achieving the security the Jewish people so desperately need.
