Have the Geneva accord creators and their supporters forgotten or misread history, or are they just plain ignorant? The land given to Hitler did not appease his obsession for world domination. Do the events of the past 50 or so years demonstrate that the majority of Palestinians and their Islamic supporters will ever be satisfied with land, when their passion is really the dissolution of Israel and genocide against Jews? Do recent events suggest that a peaceful Palestinian State can border Israel, or is it more likely that a Palestinian State bordering Israel will become a new haven for Islamic terrorists dedicated to Hitler's solution to the Jewish "problem"? Geneva is optimistic.

Recent history has demonstrated that the majority of Palestinians and their supporters have been incapable of allowing Israelis to live in peace regardless of Israel's concessions. The majority of Palestinians and their Islamic supporters don't want peace, but they do share the same passion for genocide against the Jews as was demonstrated by their Nazi role models; in most cases, "leopards do not change their spots"; and if they could, it would take a lot of scrubbing and repainting to redo or remove the spots.

The study of history and its lessons is very time consuming, and this pursuit does not fit well with the "sound byte" and the "instant everything" generation. Furthermore, most of the Western world labors under the arrogant belief that "new" is better than "old", and, therefore, history has little to do with solving our current problems. It has become a fad and a profitable pursuit to create that which history has repeatedly demonstrated to be unworkable. This is verified by the failures of Oslo and the Road Map, and nothing will change with Geneva; peace proposals that deny history will not cheat history (its lessons cannot safely be ignored).

History has established that peace making is not always the simple matter of "turning the other cheek", giving without having to receive, making lovey-dovey, talking peacefully, smiling, thinking positively, or yelling out, "Peace Now!" In fact, there were times when peaceful gestures caused more damage than good, and there were times when peace evolved from war. Evil generally does not submit to peace, but it will back down when it meets a force stronger than it. The Axis powers during the Second World War did not submit to peace because "peaceniks" offered land for peace. Screaming "Peace Now" or "No War" would not have stopped Hitler's aggression, but the "iron fist" of Allies subdued the Axis aggression and peace followed.

Since the establishment of Israel, the Arabs/Palestinians have employed deviously creative means to avoid the opportunities to live in peace with Israel. These opportunities for peace included the return of land lost during repeated wars initiated against Israel, re-partitioning of land promised to Israel by the British, Palestinian self-rule experiments within the disputed territories, repeated withdrawals from disputed territories, the return of frozen assets/funds by Israel to the enemy seeking Israel's destruction, education, job opportunities, medical care and welfare. Israel did more, and still does more, than any other nation in history to live in peace with neighbors dedicated to its destruction. Israeli leadership has repeatedly, through ludicrous appeasement, denigrated its sovereignty, sacrificed its citizens and humiliated itself by venturing into various "creative" and biased peace arrangements, in order to satisfy the world's greed for oil, new economic markets and the security of other nations.

Even when there was supposed to have been "peace" with Egypt in exchange for land (Sinai returned to Egypt in the 1980s) Egypt continues to incite, sponsor and assist terror against Israel. Israel agreed to foolish concessions in Oslo for the promise of security and peace, and, true to the nature and goals of the Arab/Palestinian mind, terror was all that Israel received. Israeli concessions, short of dissolving the State of Israel, have never been enough to quell her enemy's passion for genocide against the Jews of Israel. Pressure from Leftist peaceniks, the EU, the UN, and the US caused Israel to withdraw from southern Lebanon (buffer zone against terror); peace was promised for this risk. Instead of peace and security, Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon (aided by Syria and Iran) pose a greater threat to Israel than ever before (thousands of missiles are positioned against Israel). The Road Map, a re-heated "fast-food" Oslo "meal" was hastily brought to the table to appease the EU and the Arab world for the sake of America's security and goals. The failed "Map" required that the Palestinians stop terror against Israel before any Israeli concessions could be negotiated. However, true to form, the majority of Palestinians and their supporters would not give up the practice of ethnically cleansing the area of Jews, nor would the majority of the world's leaders give up bashing Israel for Israel's attempts to survive.

Oslo and the Road Map brought little else than strengthening the resolve of Arafat, Hezbollah, Syria, Iran and the majority of Muslims and Palestinians that Israel will eventually be dissolved by continued charades, bizarre distortions of reality, satanic-like terror, and by support from the media, the UN, the EU, and even at times, support from the US. These peace plans blatantly ignored the lessons of history, while they willingly embraced the lies of Israel's enemies, and in doing so, these plans brought about a rise in world anti-Semitism that is no less epidemic than it was in Hitler's time. The creators of these plans maliciously neglected, for the sake of self-interest, to hold the true perpetrators (Britain, Russia, France, the UN, and the majority of the Arab world) accountable for the Palestinian refugee problem; "conveniently" the dirt has been repeatedly shoved under Israel's "carpet".

Now we have the Geneva Accords, a craftily and creatively marketed "gourmet" feast of Israeli concessions that is no more than the reheating of the stale and moldy Oslo and Road Map feasts. Once again, Israel must take the risks, suffer the losses, and bear the responsibility that the world was able to avoid, just so that the majority of Arabs/Muslims might be mystically satiated. Geneva will do no more than demonstrate the effectiveness of terror. It will weaken Israel's leadership further in the eyes of the world and its enemies. It will signal to the "vultures" that death may be near, and the time to feast is at hand.

Geneva will not succeed, because its logic is does not match up with historical realities any more than did Oslo and the Road Map. Geneva will fail, because of its obsession with the fantasy that land and independence is the true passion of the majority of Israel's enemies. However, the passion of Israel's enemies is really the removal of the Jewish "infidels" from Israel and the earth. Geneva ignores the Hitlerian-like dedication of Israel's enemies; therefore, it cannot bring peace or security to Israel. Peace will only succeed once Israel's sworn enemies (including the majority of the Palestinians) have been subdued as surely as the Axis powers were subdued during World War II.
