A new section of Jerusalem\'s Route 1, the route that runs north from Tzahal Square (just west of Jaffa Gate, in downtown Jerusalem) to French Hill, Pisgat Ze\'ev, and N\'vei Yaakov, will be dedicated and opened for traffic today. The newest section leads from the turnoff to the Binyamin communities to northern N\'vei Yaakov. The highway includes three bridges. A short time after the opening of the section, which borders on the Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina, rocks were thrown at cars using the route.
