In response to a recent report by Arutz-7 about a campaign to promote Israeli products in light of the country's financial troubles, many readers asked for a list of such products and where they can be purchased. The following websites, in addition to the three published here yesterday, are a partial list of sources for such products; more may be added in the future.
* "www.catteacorner.com/links2.htm#ee" - "Buy Israeli Products"
* "www.shopinisrael.com"
* "israelexport.org"
In addition, Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida has scheduled an "Israeli Marketplace Bazaar" this Nov. 17. Merchandise from over 20 Israeli vendors and artists from Israel will be available for purchase, giving the community the opportunity to show its solidarity with Israel and give its economy a much needed boost. Non-profit organizations such as Friends of the IDF and Magen David Adom will also be represented, and money raised at the event will go to the Jewish Federation's Israel Emergency Fund to help the victims of terrorism and their families.
Similarly, the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region sponsored a virtual Israeli Mall this past Sunday, hosting dozens of Israeli merchants for a one-day fair in Sacramento.
