To:
The Honorable Arik Sharon
Mr. Prime Minister,
Congratulations on the victory of the Likud in last week?s election.
I notice that much of the new support of Likud seems to have come from both Jews who have made aliyah in the past ten years, who may have otherwise voted for Yisrael B'Aliya, and religious Jews who abandoned Shas. I draw this conclusion from how those parties fared in the election.
During the past ten Oslo war years, and particularly the last two and a half years of fighting Arab terror, the resolve to win the struggle for the land of Israel has never been espoused in a forthright manner by any Israeli government. Instead, Israel has tried to negotiate a "peace" settlement that would create another Arab state as a means of ending a long and bitter conflict with Amalek. Such a treaty, in retrospect, should never be the national goal of the Jewish people. We rely upon our Torah that this is not the intention of HaSh-m for the Jewish people. It therefore falls to you and any new government you form to seriously reassess what should be the proper goal for the nation, in light of recent history (the last 120 years).
Taking into account the base of your support, you should look to form a nationalist government and not a unity government, which has failed miserably in the last ten years. Your government should start to reflect those Jewish values that have kept the nation alive for thousands of years and not the values of nihilists, or those of dhimmi or ghetto jews. Our national treasures are the first symbols Amalek attacked in this war to deny our identity and permanent ties to our Land. Joseph?s Tomb, Machpelah Cave and Har HaBayit belong exclusively to the Jewish nation. It is long past due that Ishmael, Esau, and Amalek were made to acknowledge and respect our rights to the Land.
No Shinui/Labor/Likud coalition will ever successfully reflect the true spirit of the Jewish nation, but it is your job to come to this conclusion on your own. I trust you will see that a coalition of the national camp will strengthen the resolve of the nation to face the attacks of the enemy and defeat them soon. A Sudetenland-style capitulation is a course of action you have said will not be permitted. Yet Israel continues to fight its most vicious war without chance of resolution until it declares "The Land belongs to us and is not for sale." Will a coalition with communars from Labor or Seinfelds from Shinui help in any way to lead Israel to victory? The nation chose you for your resolve and leadership in war; do not turn aside those who gave you the support needed to win the war. Above all, the cause of the Jewish Nation is just and will stand the test of time when you start to invoke Divine Providence as our guide.
Your job should be to build Israel, not "palestine". You feel Israel is isolated; how can that be? You want to encourage Diaspora Jews to return home? Obtain laws needed from this Knesset that will make it more likely to occur. As a listener of Arutz Sheva, I find the economic reforms proposed by Baruch Gordon and Daniel Ben Abraham most constructive. You should seek out their advice for proposals on how to strengthen Israel?s economy. The oak trees that are missing since the Roman destruction of Judea will be planted by Jewish hands only. It is your job to pick the right seeds from amongst the wealth of talent of the nation, those who understand our true destiny as a people, and why He has replanted us in His Land. Those activists within Likud who helped bring this great electoral victory should be relied upon and not vilified (you know who I mean), for working with them will help bring Israel the victory that will be the kiddush HaSh-m that we seek.
Let the ?Tommys? and the ?Peresites? plan for a chillul HaSh-m from outside the government.
Respectfully yours.
