Only a few days passed after the massacre in Hevron before eleven more innocent victims of the ongoing Oslo War were added to the ever growing list of murdered Jews. Children on the way to school, grandparents escorting their grandchildren on what became their last trip together, were cut down by the devil's scythe. Mothers and fathers once again mourn their children and the kaddish prayer never stops.
As the echo and vibrations of the latest atrocity continued to thunder in the innards of pained consciousness, my ears refused to believe what they heard and my mind was unable to absorb and comprehend the outrageous obscenity hurled at Israel by the next-on-line insult to the free world, otherwise known as Denmark. The blood of the children was still warm; some hadn't yet stopped crying. Yet, Denmark's rage was not aimed or directed at those committing these heinous crimes against humanity; instead, Denmark dug deep into her cache of insults in order to hurl her misdirected and misplaced outrage at Israel! This "freedom loving, liberal, democratic" nation, bereft of any decency, had no compunction to degrade her own standing amongst world democracies by lowering herself further down into the gutter of a deplorable anti-Israel, anti-Jewish cabal spreading its anti-Semitic message across the globe. It seems that Denmark knows no shame in its continuing groveling and licking the feet of the most despicable incarnations of the Angel of Death.
Denmark had just taken its turn in the role of president of the European Union when the vile and bloody bus bombing in Jerusalem's Kiryat Menachem occurred. In its perfunctory expression of condolences to the bereaved Israeli families, Denmark combined its message with a soft and mild "...call upon militant Palestinian groups..." Who are these militant groups? Why did Denmark hide again behind a wall of hypocrisy and avoid condemning these "groups" as the killers and murderers they are? In the same breath and with apparent and on-going anti-Israel bias, Denmark issued a condemnation of Israeli actions in Gaza and the West bank "...with its many civilian casualties..."
The enormity of the two-faced, blatant double standard begs for an explanation. No other country in this universe would tolerate the slow annihilation process being visited upon Israel. No other nation would tolerate a daily dosage of sheer carnage and mayhem enveloped in terror and blood. Witness Russia's horrid, yet quick, end to a threat against its citizenry. Witness the tremendous, unrelenting power being extended by the mightiest of all nations, whose citizens have been terrorized but once, in order to extract the poison and eradicate it. It is Israel, and Israel alone, who is required, urged, boycotted, embargoed and threatened with punitive punishment for having the unforgivable chutzpah of not laying down and dying. No other nation in the world is required to fold its arms and sit back as her bitter enemies continue to bleed her. Israeli citizens are targeted for murder, daily, everywhere and anytime. Yet Denmark has not once condemned the deliberate targeting of Israeli citizens, but rather wrapped its call for an end to the "cycle of violence." Even its transparent condolences, drowning in crocodile tears, are a total insult in their falseness and insincerity, designed, as they are, for the sole purpose of an "even-handed" policy.
Where are the calls for an inquiry into this massacre against civilians; against school children? Where is the call for inquiries into the other dozens of massacres carried out on orders of Europe's "pretty boy", the arch terrorist, Yasser Arafat? Where is the same measure of immense outrage, so splendidly and deliberately expressed by Denmark and the coward members of the EU, in demanding an investigation of an imaginary "massacre" that never happened in Jenin? That was a false and deliberate lie perpetrated by the Arab world, fueled and nurtured by the same hypocritical European Union.
As a clear and precise explanation is not on the horizon, I'd like to cast the last word of caution to Denmark regarding its anti-Israel, anti-Semitic stance. Every generation has seen the rise of newer and more bitter anti-Jewish enemies, whose hope, wish and design was the eradication of the Jews. Denmark, too, will, as did many civilizations before her, fade away and disappear into the annals of history. The Danish ?Republic? will have become a swamp of mummified fossils, while Israel will long, long still continue to inhabit her G-d-given land.
