The Arab/Muslim world is angry at the United States and Israel, apparently for the failures endemic to the Arab/Muslim world. From their dictators to the street mobs, they wish to blame the poor condition of their lives on America. Not wishing to accept blame themselves, failure in the Arab world is always someone else?s fault. The Arabs of the Middle East are, as a whole, viewed as a backward people, kept that way by their own corrupt and tyrannical leadership.

In spite of the oil which lies beneath the feet of the Gulf sheikhs, they managed to squander away the billions, even trillions, of dollars that landed in their hands by providence alone. The vast fortunes made from the oil under their deserts never flowed down to their people. Instead, it was poured into palaces, fleets of Rolls-Royce limousines, estates that stretched for miles, with thoroughbred horses and falcons to demonstrate their ?culture?. But, far worse. Most of the oil revenues were used to accumulate weapons? armories that were vast ?? only reflecting the macho image they wanted to project to the world. In addition, each Arab nation failed miserably to educate its youth, build industry, advance its medical capability for the health of their people, maintain and develop agriculture beyond a primitive level ?? and more. The lower they sank, the more they blamed America (which some of them call "the Great Satan") and Israel (which some of them call "the Little Satan").

When a corrupt, power-driven society has such stockpiles of weapons, they feel indomitable, invincible. They need an adversary to attack, to beat, and compare their leaders to the 12th century Kurdish warrior, Saladin. They chose the new State of Israel and the Jews to regenerate their self-image as warriors.

Surely, they could easily crush this minuscule state consisting of 600,000 Jews who came from the death camps of Europe. After all, more than half were women and children and their men were mostly untrained. Their victory would be spoken about gloriously in the shuk (marketplace) and coffee houses all over the Arab/Muslim world. In 1948, seven armed and trained Arab armies descended upon the hapless Jews just as their new State was born, May 14th ? after months of terrorist and low-intensity warfare. Somehow, the Jews of the European death camps soundly beat and routed the best Arab armies. The Arabs failed and named their defeat al Nakba (the Catastrophe).

The Arabs could not believe nor accept the fact that these lowly, despised Jews had beaten them. So they resorted to what Arab society often does when it cannot accept reality. They evolved a fantasy and blamed America. They told their people that it was American forces who had been secretly brought in and, therefore, they did not shamefully lose to a lowly enemy, but to a Superpower. In the following six wars launched against the Jewish State of Israel ?? they lost. So, they blamed America for thwarting their plans to annihilate the Jewish people and the Jewish State. This myth was more acceptable than the act of ?losing their manhood? in war to a people they considered lowly dhimmi ?? what they called the Jews and Christians, people of the Book, whom they allowed to live under sufferance and humiliation.

Across the Arab world, the leadership (both dictators and radical clerics) in each nation is rotten to its core. The vast sums spent on palaces and weapons could have turned their nations into modern, prosperous, successful societies. Instead, their people were kept in ignorance, poverty and hatred for the "other" ? especially the Jew, but also the free western democracies - with America demonized as "the Great Satan". Hatred became a product of their schools, which became incubators of hate and teachers of murder. Tender minds were filled with hatred and vengeance against Israel and America, creating today?s army of terrorists.

Clearly, the nations of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and the Sudan are no friends of America. Some are more out front in their hostility such as Iraq, Iran, Syria and Libya ? and never will be open to peace and democracy. Others, like Saudi Arabia and Egypt, take advantage of American naivete to trade with the US, accept free weapons, but still hate us. Egypt has been gifted with more than $48 Billion in American tax-payers? funds since 1979, which she has used primarily to purchase weapons from American military contractors, but still they hate us. Those weapons are there, of course, so that they can be used. Their state-run newspapers are filled with hatred toward Americans and Israelis. They can never be trusted nor relied upon; at least, not by America.

America and the Free World now faces a plague of well-armed radical Islamists, dedicated to the destruction of all non-Muslim societies. Wherever the Muslims gain ?critical mass?, the Islamists go from quiet, seemingly peace-loving people to violent adversaries of their host countries. They create Islamic organizations that use the democratic process of law to undercut the society and nation that has taken them in. It is their belief that they are mandated by Koranic Law to convert all nations into one global Islamic Ummah (nation).

On September 11th, 2002 the entire nation of America went on the highest alert, in anticipation of a mega-attack by sleeper killer Muslim terrorists who authorities had so cordially allowed into the country. American embassies were closed in other nations in anticipation of such attacks as al Qaeda had previously carried out against two American Embassies in Africa. This is the New World Order in which we live. Many Arab Muslims hate America, more for what they represent as an explanation of their failures. They should be blaming their despotic leaders and themselves, but false pride and shame will not allow them to face that reality. Americans have not learned the lessons of facing an implacable enemy, driven by a cruel and uncompromising radical religion. The Israelis were also slow to learn this lesson, trying every form of appeasement with no success at achieving the peace they fervently desire.

The world is at war with Radical Islam, as such Muslims who accept the teachings of Islamists are called upon to rise up against their host nations. It is instructive to note "A Warning From The Yamin Israel Party", distributed by Professor Paul Eidelberg:

?Idi Amin asserted Islamic control over Uganda when Muslims controlled only about 10% of the population. In the Cameroons, Muslims gained control when they comprised only about 16% of this little country?s population.

?Presently, Arabs comprise about 20% of Israel?s inhabitants. Long before they constitute 50%, they will make every effort to rule. External events aside, Israel probably has less than 10 years to solve its demographic problem.

?Since Israel?s governments have made no effort to do so, it?s reasonable to expect the Lebanonization of Israel in the very near future. In that case, certain Jews [presumably the Left] will probably side with the Arabs - which would make the civil war fratricidal.? (1)

There are those who insist that we are not at war with Islam and it is only a small faction of extremists who are blowing up buildings, ships, etc. They are wrong. We are in a clash of culture and civilizations with no possibility of pacifying the Islamists. Neville Chamberlain had to actually see Hitler take most of Europe before he could even admit that his pacifism actually accelerated Hitler?s advancement. Listen to the Mullahs sermonize in their mosques. Listen to the Arab/Muslim dictators and start to believe what they promise the Judeo-Christian world. They are an ugly bunch and will have no pity ?? even on those who bleat and mewl about how they really love Islam. They are determined to fight until Islam dominates the world. They will settle for nothing less.
