Globes, Israel?s leading financial newspaper, recently reported that the state of Virginia in the United States has established a program called the Virginia-Israel Technology Alliance (VITAL) with the express purpose of assisting Israeli companies in penetrating the US market. According to the Globes article, ?The methods to be used including bringing together venture capital entrepreneurs with strategic investors and providing technological and logistic services at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, under the auspices of Virginia Tech.? A delegation sponsored by the government of Virginia and the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center will be visiting Israel next week in order to select candidate companies for the program.
