Children on their way to school in N'vei Dekalim, in the Gush Katif bloc of communities in Gaza, were amazed at the miracle that befell them this morning when an Arab-launched mortar shell landed near a kindergarten, exploded underground, and caused no injuries. Tzviya Ochayon, whose children had just left for school, told Arutz-7 what happened:
"It was about 7:45, when all the paths were filled with kids on their way to school. I was about to leave for work when I heard the all-too-familiar sound of a mortar shell coming, followed by a boom. I went outside... we saw smoke, so we went in that direction, but we couldn't find where the shell had landed. We were looking all over, until we finally found it two meters from where I was standing - but there was no shrapnel. Finally we realized that it had exploded underground. It was a tremendous miracle... It's too bad that when there's no blood and no wounded, no one pays any attention - but the fact is that this deadly bomb was aimed directly at Israeli children on their way to school."
