Over the past 18 months of violence the general Western media has been fixated on the ?Death Count? in the Middle East. The Arabs 1,194 and the Jews 418. This sportscaster-like presentation, by the media, of the ?Death Count? claims that the deaths were 6 to 1 Palestinians to Israelis and now they are 3 to 1. This ?Death Count? is a fabrication of a morbid liberal media depicting reality as a Hollywood melodramatic action flick.
One would believe that the existence of a ?Death Count? would be to keep track of how many innocent civilians have been killed in this conflict. If this were the true agenda of the media organizations, then included with the ?Death Count? would be an accurate definition of innocence. One can define innocence as a 13 year-old child eating ice cream at a local mall. Innocence can be a mother walking her baby to the local super market, or a group of teens waiting in line to enter their favorite discotheque. Innocence is not a 23 year old man brandishing a gun shouting ?Allah is great! Jihad, Jihad!?, while at the same time firing upon a group of kids waiting in line to buy a movie ticket for the most recent episode of Star Wars. In every case, the gun-brandishing terrorist will inevitably be stopped by a bullet and killed. The general Western media includes both the victims and the terrorist as equals in their ?Death Count?. Furthermore, the ?Death Count? records Palestinian deaths as they blow themselves up, serving as ?Human Smart Bombs? targeting Israeli civilians in cafes, pizzerias, grocery-stores and on sacred religious occasions. More terrorist deaths are recorded as Israel struggles to eliminate the threat of the terror networks and individuals who will send or will serve as future ?Human Smart Bombs? against Israeli population centers.
Whose warped definition of victimhood created this montage of idiosyncratic nonsense? To equate the murdered women and children with terrorists is simply a liberal media copout. It is far easier to remain ignorant of a situation than to truly understand the depths to which it reaches. Creating a fictional episodic reality for the occurrence is much easier than reporting fact. Does the liberal Western media believe that a truly factual presentation of the situation would make the average American cringe with disgust? Is this perhaps the reason that the liberal media hides the true identities of terrorists behind a fictitious number on a scale of death? Could this also be the reason the media denies the American public a truthful glimpse of those who send the suicide bombers, terrorist militants of a murderous dictatorial regime, plagued with corrupt leadership and bent on destroying the innocence of two groups of children, Israeli and Palestinian?
