India, Great Britain and an unnamed eastern European country have recently purchased Israeli technology for use in border defense, television broadcasting and military targeting.
Azimuth Technologies Ltd., the Israel Defense Forces preferred supplier for target acquisition systems, has sold the government of India targeting systems worth close to two million dollars. An unnamed Eastern European country also recently purchased more than one million dollars worth of border defense equipment from the Israeli firm. Azimuth produces components for military and civilian use, such as control, monitoring and navigation systems, and optical measuring equipment.
The British television company Pulsetech, operator of the Bravo, UK Gold and UK Living TV channels, has purchased an operating system from the Israeli company, Pilat Media. The system purchased, with a first year price tag of one million dollars, is designed for monitoring program acquisitions, planning of broadcast schedules, editing, production, etc.
