Fifteen artists, seven from the American cities of Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Tulsa, and eight from the northern region of Israel, joined together to create works of art for display in an Israeli hospital, reports the Jewish Agency?s Global Jewish Agenda.

For a period of ten days, the artists worked in pairs, generally in the Israeli partner?s workshop, in an effort to create joint works of art. The joint Israeli-American artistic efforts concluded with an unveiling ceremony at the Poriya Government Hospital, a Tiberias region civilian and military medical center. The works of art are now on permanent display in the halls of the hospital.
