The Egyptian secretary general of the Arab League, Amr Moussa, warned against the consequences of the strategic military cooperation between Turkey and Israel for Arab interests in the Middle East. The warning was issued in Cairo on Monday, following a meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister Ismael Cim. For his part, Foreign Minister Cim stressed his country's commitment to developing Arab-Turkish relations, noting Turkey?s ongoing consultations with the Arab League. However, Cim said that Turkey will spare no effort in trying to improve conditions in the region through its relationships with Arab states and with Israel.
