Gal Mainzer and Orit Shilo, two young entrepreneurs from Israel, are now in the United States meeting with other young entrepreneurs from all over the world. They are participating in The Marmon Group 2001 Global Trade Institute in Chicago. The top-performing students from Junior Achievement International chapters all over the world have been selected to take part in the Trade Institute. Each nation sent one to two of its most outstanding future business leaders to the Institute as representatives of their home country. These students will return home with ideas for new ways of doing business. At the gathering, the youngsters are studying entrepreneurship, leadership, negotiation, networking, customer service, marketing, legal issues, e-commerce, ethics and many other topics.
The students will leave the Institute with a new global network of business contacts. They began exchanging email with other Marmon Institute participants in May. Already these young business leaders have begun to establish relationships that will help them do business in the global economy.
