Over 100 companies participated in this year's job fair at Haifa's Technion Institute of Technology, which took place on Wednesday, May 23rd along the "Heart of the Campus" promenade, between the Faculties of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. The various companies set up stands along the promenade, a format that enabled Technion students and graduates direct contact with executive representatives of the participating companies. Technion's job fair is the largest technological fair among those held at higher education institutions. Unlike other fairs, this one is held with the participation of company representatives only, without employment agencies. The professional employment unit at the Dean of Students Office, which organized the fair, conducted a training session for students two days prior to the fair, in which tips on writing CVs and appearing at work interviews were being dispensed free of charge.
