This summer, the B'nai Brith Youth Organization is offering "the most comprehensive Israel experience, a behind the scene peek at what Israel is all about." According to an internet brochure published by the organization, "from the Golan Heights to the Red Sea, and Tel Aviv to the Dead Sea - participants will explore and experience the sites of ancient and modern Israel - utilizing the entire country as a classroom." The 36-day Outdoor Adventure runs from June 25th to July 30th, and the official participation fee is $3,990. Participants will: spend time in Jerusalem, "discovering its unfathomable beauty and spirituality"; kayak down the Jordan River; meet with soldiers at an IDF base; participate in an active archaeological dig; see Jewish history come alive on the rock fortress of Masada; and swim along the world famous coral reef at the Red Sea in Eilat.
