The National Council of Synagogue Youth (NCSY) has developed an exhilarating and inspiring summer program designed for young Jewish adults from public school background. "The Jerusalem Journey" is a four week comprehensive co-educational summer tour of Israel designed specifically for young people who wish to increase their understanding of their cultural heritage and intensify their identification with the Land of Israel. Participants will spend their summer climbing Masada, swimming in the Kineret, kayaking down the Jordan River, and excavating artifacts while fostering a love and appreciation for the beauty of Israel. The Jerusalem Journey is Directed by Rabbi Steven Burg, Regional Director, West Coast NCSY.
