A large and varied collection of works by 69 leading Israeli artists is currently on display at Jerusalem's Israel Museum. According to organizers, the exhibit affords a glimpse into the wide range of subjects, local and universal, that preocuppied Israeli artists in the last three decades of the 20th century. These include the Israeli landscape, borders, wandering, war and loss, the affinity to Judaism, the transience of human life, art in the mirror of art, the artistic legacy of Marcel Duchamp, and more
