A Hizbullah terrorist acting from within Israel was discovered and arrested in June. Senior Hizbullah terrorrist Ayub Fawzi, 38, responsible for the deaths of scores of civilians in Lebanon as well as attacks inside Israel, arrived in Israel in October 2000, just after the start of the Oslo War. He entered on a forged US passport after having lived in Canada for a number of years, spent time in Hevron, and joined up with another terrorist who aided him in finding sites for concealing explosives and other terror activities.
Fawzi's terror branch is headed by Amad Mu'ania, a Hizbullah leader whose name appeared on the U.S. list of the world's 22 most wanted terrorists after the September 11th attacks.
